Although most patients are referred by a health care provider, self-referrals are accepted.

The clinical problems for which Dr. Levenkron has special interest and experience include:

  • Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive‐Compulsive Disorder, Panic Attacks, Phobias
  • Mood Disorders, Depression
  • Disabling or life‐disrupting reactions to a wide range of stressful life events which can often trigger medical/physical expressions of stress
  • Adjustment to chronic, life‐altering, or life‐threatening medical illnesses, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, Neurological diseases

Therapy Methods:

  • Most patients receive individual psychotherapy, however, sometimes it is desirable to be seen with other family members
  • The general treatment approach includes the broad methods of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
